Genealogy of Design Exhibitions of Korea and its Legacy since 1997

 

     This paper aims at reviewing the trajectory of public exhibitions on Korea design since 1997, taking a critical stance. Throughout looking back on design exhibition and re-constituting its genealogy and taxonomy, it is expected to delve deeply into the topography of design history in Korea. And also, this critical essay stemmed from the exhibition studies tried to find out the social legacy from the current design discourse and practices
